1. Scope; Original Purchaser Only

This Limited Warranty (“Warranty”) is issued by Teleport Ride Electric Bikes (“Teleport,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to the original retail purchaser (“you” or “Owner”) of a new Teleport bicycle purchased directly from Teleport or an authorized reseller. This Warranty is not transferable and applies only to bicycles delivered within the United States or Canada.

2. Warranty Periods and Covered Components

Subject to the terms, conditions, and exclusions set forth herein, Teleport warrants that the covered components will be free from defects in materials and workmanship, under normal use and service, for the following periods beginning on the date of delivery to the original purchaser:

  • Frame (structural): Five (5) years.
  • Electronics (including hub motor, motor controller, battery pack, display, charger, wiring harness, sensors, lights): One (1) year.

Remedy. For a valid claim received within the applicable period, Teleport will, at its sole option, repair the defective component, replace it with a new or equivalent component, or supply parts and reasonable instructions to enable repair. Replaced components become Teleport property. Teleport may use new, refurbished, or functionally equivalent components.

Battery note. Battery performance naturally declines with age and use. The one-year electronics coverage applies to manufacturing defects; normal capacity fade is not a defect.

3. Components Not Covered (Moving Parts; Wear and Tear)

This Warranty does not cover moving parts and normal wear items, including without limitation: brake pads and rotors, tires and tubes, spokes, rims, bearings (headset, bottom bracket, hubs), belt/chain and cogs, freewheel/cassette, belt drive, pedals, grips, saddle cover and foam, cables/housing, kickstand, fasteners, paint, decals, cosmetic finishes, and other consumables.

4. Additional Exclusions

This Warranty does not cover damage, failure, or loss resulting from, or consisting of, any of the following:

  1. Misuse, abuse, accident, neglect, or improper storage; riding beyond rated limits; stunts, racing, or trick riding.

  2. Improper assembly, adjustment, or maintenance, including failure to follow Teleport’s Owner’s Manual and torque specifications.

  3. Alteration or modification of any component (including non-approved firmware or electrical modifications); use of non-Teleport batteries, chargers, or controllers.

  4. Commercial, rental, courier, or fleet use unless covered under a separate written Teleport business warranty.

  5. Environmental or liquid damage, including immersion, pressure-washing, or exposure beyond published IP guidance.

  6. Electrical damage due to improper charging, power surges, or the use of non-approved chargers or accessories.

  7. Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, rust, discoloration), normal noise or vibration, or fit/comfort preferences.

  8. Theft, loss, or damage in transit after delivery to the Owner.

  9. Serial numbers removed, altered, or unreadable, or purchase from an unauthorized seller, marketplace, or private party.

  10. Failure to follow battery care and storage instructions in the Owner’s Manual, including maintaining appropriate state-of-charge and periodic charging when the bicycle is not used for extended periods (weeks or months), long-term storage at 0% or at extreme temperatures.

5. Owner Obligations (Conditions of Coverage)

To maintain eligibility under this Warranty, you must:

  1. Be the original buyer of the bicycle. This Warranty is not transferable.
  2. Operate, store, and maintain the bicycle in accordance with the Owner’s Manual, including periodic inspection and torque checks; and

(c) Use approved parts and the supplied charger for charging the battery.

(d) Follow the battery care instructions when the bike is not used for prolonged periods, as specified in the manual.

Failure to satisfy these obligations may, at Teleport’s discretion, void coverage for affected components.

6. How to Make a Claim

To initiate a claim, promptly contact Teleport and provide: (i) your order and serial numbers; (ii) a written description of the issue; (iii) clear photos or video; and (iv) any diagnostic codes. Teleport may request additional information or the return of the affected component for inspection.

Evaluation and Resolution. Teleport will assess eligibility and advise next steps. If a return is required, Teleport will issue return instructions and a Return Material Authorization (RMA). Do not ship any item without an RMA.

Shipping and Labor. For approved claims: Within thirty (30) days of delivery, Teleport covers the cost of covered parts and standard ground shipping to the Owner. After thirty (30) days, Teleport covers the cost of covered parts; the Owner is responsible for labor and shipping costs, except where prohibited by applicable law.

7. Limitations; Disclaimers

Exclusive Remedy. The remedies described in this Warranty are your sole and exclusive remedies for any covered defect.

No Other Warranties. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TELEPORT DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on the duration of implied warranties; if and to the extent such laws apply to you, the foregoing limitations may not apply.

No Liability for Certain Damages. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TELEPORT WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF TIME, INCONVENIENCE, LOSS OF VALUE, OR LOST PROFITS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages; if and to the extent such laws apply to you, the foregoing limitations may not apply.

No Guarantee of Uninterrupted Use. Normal service intervals, adjustments, and wear are the Owner’s responsibility and are not defects.

8. Governing Law; Venue; Jurisdiction

This Warranty, and any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this Warranty or your Teleport bicycle, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Exclusive venue and jurisdiction for any legal action shall lie in the state or federal courts located in Denver, Colorado, and you and Teleport consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to forum or venue therein.

9. Severability; Assignment; Entire Agreement

If any provision of this Warranty is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Teleport may assign its rights or delegate its obligations under this Warranty to an affiliate or successor. This Warranty constitutes the entire agreement between you and Teleport with respect to warranty coverage for your bicycle and supersedes any prior or contemporaneous communications on that subject.

10. Consumers’ Statutory Rights

This Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary by state or province. Nothing in this Warranty is intended to limit your non-waivable statutory rights.

Non-Contractual Summary: Frame—5 years. Electronics—1 year. No warranty on moving parts and normal wear items. Keep your proof of purchase.
